“Palm Beach – Love Can Make You Dance”
This series originated from EL MORA’s on-and-off relationship with Danielle, strongly influenced by the song “No More I Love You” by Annie Lennox.
Over the years, these artworks evolved, reflecting on love as one of the most beautiful and simultaneously painful experiences in life. The emotions and experiences inspired by the song are mirrored in the works.
EL MORA himself says:
“Love can make you dance with joy and pain, you may lose control of yourself, a wonderful feeling but also terrible pain. Loving a person, an idea, or anything in life ‘absolutely’ can express the same feeling. For me and my development in life and my painting, these years were of great significance.”
